I have tried pha peeling gel before, and I like it very much because it is very gentle for my sensitive skin. I'm so excited to have a chance to try the peeling toner.
Peeling toner contains 3% 3rd generation PHA (Lactobionic Acid), Chrisanthemum Extract and Natural Moisturizing Factor.
Main ingredients
- PHA : Melts dead skin cells and commonly used in esthetic centers for moist & glowing exfoliation. Is a mild peeling ingredient compared to AHA so it's minimized irritation.
- Centaurea Cyanus Flower Water & Chrysanthemum Morifolium Flower extract : known as natural moisturizing & soothing water,it has antioxidant & anti-inflamatory properties.
- Sodium PCA : is a natural moisturizing factor which has 50% improved moisturizing ability compared to glycerin.
- Sodium Hyaluronate : absorbs moisture from the air & hydrates the skin.
Packed in 150ml grayish blue pump bottles, there is a seal sticker on the lid.
The peeling toner is free from artificial fragrance, so the scent produced is obtained from the ingredients themselves, the scent reminds me of a swimming pool like water in a swimming pool.
It has water-like consistency, light, not sticky and easily absorbed.
It's suggested to use it 2-3 times a week, but I used it every day in the first 3 days, and it ends up with dry patches on my nose and chin area, my skin feels stiff, dry and peeling, I stop using it for a week, then I used it as it suggested 2-3 times a week, and there are no bad reactions afterwards.
After regularly using it 2-3 times a week I can feel my skin getting smoother, my pores feel clean and sebum is controlled and of course the production of comedo is reduced.
Overall I quite like this toner, it's just for those who have very sensitive skin like me can't use it every day, only use as it suggested.
